Set up to four CPU temperature targets and the motherboard will adjust fan speeds automatically. I have no way of controlling my fans right now and would really appreciate any help. Assume complete control of your fans with Total Fan Control. I have the latest bios but my bios for some reason does not have a way to use a graph to set the fans and can only put in values. I checked dragon center and it says that the fans are under control according to the graph but the rpm value is not in line. I set them to smart fan mode and pwm mode but there is still no effect. I then tried going into the bios to manually change the fan values to the same as the ones before but the values are not applying. I then wanted to try undervolting my cpu and had to go into the bios to change that and once I changed that and booted back into windows, I heard that my fans were going much faster than normal and that they were not being properly controlled by the dragon center. I bought the board a month ago and was using dragon center to control the fans which had some glitches here and there but was working for controlling my case and cpu fans. Many thanks.Hi, I have b450 tomahawk and am using 2 stock NZXT 120mm, 1 Phanteks 140mm, and the stock and wraith stealth cooler.

I do have a case which allows me to see the top of the number but not enough to be certain of it. Its not on the box and they have put it in a very difficult place to read once you've installed the mobo - on a label on the side of the 24-pin power connector of all places. I can provide all the info MSI want except the CHK number. I also have a problem in registering my product. If anyone can help me I would be very grateful. This morning I've proved that that was the problem, the only snag being that I just cannot work out how to turn off fan control and I had to set the fans to full speed - and it's noisy!Ĭan anyone advise me how to turn off fan control on the B450 Tomahawk Max? I know fan control is done in the Hardware Monitor section of the Setup Firmware but just how you turn off fan control I have no idea - or even if it can be turned off. During the evening I checked on my husbands PC for possible causes and found that I needed to turn off fan control in the Setup Firmware. A few minutes later the PC switched itself off and it did this several times before I gave up for the day. However, when I switched on it was ok for perhaps a 1-2 minutes and the cooler fans stopped. I have just rebuilt my PC using a B450 Tomahawk Max mobo, a R圜PU and a Corsair H80i v2 cooler. Automatic or manual matching between your controls and fan speeds Activation (dead zone) for each fan Saves your current configuration and reload it on startup Board support is updated whenever the API gets an update Please note that this is a small personal project.
